Abstract

Distance education is characterized for developing autonomous learning of the student, in which facilitators and tutors are used, but learning is not very successful, due to the isolation that entails. On the other hand, collaborative learning has a significant impact in the knowledge of the students, by means of which it is learned from others and with others, in a responsible, cooperative, united, equitable way with and a big feeling of commitment and relevancy to the group; nevertheless, it is complex in its design and costly as for the cognitive demands and time demands as much for the beginners (every member of a collaborative group learns, instead of simply dividing the tasks and to assign them to each one) as for the teacher (the individual attention to each of the students). The present work present a solution using the Artificial intelligence, specifically Intelligent Agents, implementing a Multiagent system architecture, which integrates in an existing e-Learning platform Moodle, providing the necessary support to the students and teachers.
